My buddy Dave Coleman and I were down in Destin, Florida playing the Hog's Breath Saloon for a whole week. We wrote a bunch of songs that week, but this one was one of my favorites; and it took about 5 minutes to write.

Drove all night heading for the beach
But son of a bitch it’s outta reach
The girls are too young and I’m a little too old
The ocean looks good, but the water’s too cold

I’m throwing out my best lines and I hope they work this time
